NEN 7125 gives term, definitions and the method to determine the indicator of energy performance of a building. In this general part general calculation rules are given, based on the European standards drawn up by the European Committee for a mandate for the energy performance directive of buildings (EPBD). In different part application rules are given for house-building versus non-residential building and new estate versus existing works.
