This Part of EN 10217 specifies the technical delivery conditions for qualities TR1, TR2A and TR2B of electric welded and submerged arc welded tubes of circular cross section, with specified room temperature properties, made from non-alloy quality steel. Qualities TR2A and TR2B are intended to support the essential requirements of EU Directive 97/23/EC in respect of pressure equipment with specified room temperature properties (see Tables 5 & 6).
