scope:

This Standard is applicable to polyaluminium hydroxidechloride and -hydroxidechloridesulfate, special grade, used for treatment of water intended for human consumption. It specifies the characteristics of and the analytical methods for polyaluminium hydroxidechloride and -hydroxidechloridesulfate which have to comply with special customers' requirements on a water plant such as high organic matter removal, extremely low residual aluminium, working conditions (e.g. pH range), etc. and gives information on their use in water.
