NPR 2962 describes the determination of the concentration of aliphatic hydrocarbons in workplace atmosphere by gas diffusive sampling with a dosemeter, liquid desorption and gas chromatography. The standard applies to the determination of the concentration of one or more of the following aliphatic hydrocarbons in workplace atmosphere, using a dosemeter with active carbon as absorbent: a. n-pentane; b. n-hexane; c. n-heptane; d. n-octane.
