scope:
Specifies procedures and requirements for the assessment of conformity of underground horizontal cylindrical tanks of glass-reinforced plastics (GRP) for the non-pressure storage of petroleum based fuels to the requirements of materials, components and assemblies given in EN 976-1 or EN 976-3. These procedures and requirements shall be included in the manufacturer's quality plan as part of his quality system (complying with EN 29001 or EN 29002, as applicable) for third party certification of conformity by a certification body accredited to EN 45011 or EN 45012, as applicable.
