scope:
This European Standard specifies requirements for the construction, performance, packaging and labelling of whistlers and the corresponding test methods. It is applicable to fireworks which are classified as whistlers in category 1 and category 2 in prEN 14035-2 which contain pyrotechnic report composition, if any, which is black powder. Brief description: non-metallic tube containing pressed whistling composition, with or without report-producing pyrotechnic composition; -Principal effects: whistling with motion in the air or on the ground, with or without sparks and with or without a report. Schemes for type testing of whistlers and batch testing of whistlers are specified in Annex A and Annex B respectively.
