This part of prEN 14362 describes a procedure to detect the use of certain azo colorants that may not be used in the manufacture or treatment of certain commodities made of textile fibres and that are accessible to reducing agent without extraction, agent without extraction, particulary textiles made of cellulose and protein fibres (e.g. cotton, viscose, wool,slik). For the extraction test method see prEN 14362-2. For certain fibre blends both parts of this standard may need to be applied.
