scope:

This EN specifies requirements for roofing products used for assembly into coverings for pitched roofs, made from Zinc Copper Titanium alloy sheet with or without additional organic coatings. This standard establishes the general characteristics, definitions, classifications, labelling and quality control for the products. Products can be prefabricated or semiformed products (e.g. interlocking tiles, slates, flashings as well as strip, coil, sheet for on-site-formed applications (e.g. standing seam roofs, roll cap...). The standard applies to all discontinuously laid and fully supported roofing made of Zinc-Copper-Titanium alloy. No requirements for application (e.g. methods of fixing, supporting construction, design of roof system, and execution of connections and flashings) are included. It defines the requirements for zinc sheet, slit coils, coils and cut lengths roofing products to comply with normal service conditions.
