scope:
This standard specifies requirements for a wheelchair occupant restraint system and parts of it, if the wheelchair is used for the conveyance of a person in a wheelchair by a vehicle. This standard applies to those restraint systems in which the wheelchair occupant is moved with the face in the direction of trafficflow. This standard does not cover: - method of building-in the restraint system in the vehicle; - the wheelchair itself (for less proper models, see Annex B).
