scope:
Gives guidance to parties involved in assessment of conformity and is applicable to piping systems made from glass-reinforced thermosetting plastics based on unsaturated polyester resin (GRP-UP) intended to be used for underground drainage and sewerage under pressure. It specifies procedures for the assessment of conformity to the requirements for materials, components, joints and assemblies given in Part 1, 2, 3 and 5 of prEN 1115. These procedures are to be included in this part of prEN 1115 for the manufacturer's quality system conforming to EN ISO 9001 or EN ISO 9002, as applicable. This part of the standard can be included in a quality system subject to third party certification of conformity by a certification body that is accredited to EN 45011 or EN 45012, as applicable.
