This Publication gives recommendations for shields (including heat-dissipating shields) for electronic tubes and valves and for the gauges thar are needed to check those shields. It includes article sheets which give dimensions of various types of shields and lists tests to check their performance. To establish uniform requirements for judging the mechanical, electrical and climatic properties of shields, to describe test methods and to give recommendations for standard dimensions.
