The electrical parameters to be measured are: resolution, relative resolution, overwrite characteristics, relative overwrite characteristics, drop-outs, relative average signal level to noise ratio, characteristics of sub-tracks in case of bias-recording. The mechanical parameters to be measured and the methods of measurements shall be in accordance with IEC 94-4.
