scope:
This standard describes a method to determine the checmical oxygen demand (COD) of water and sludge . It applies to any kind of water, waste water and sludge. Starting with the maximum quantity analysis test sample of 10 ml, an analytic limit of the chemical oxygen demand of 5 mg/l can be obtained.
