Specifies the application dependent, IC card related characteristics for a payphone application. This standard does not define the application independent characteristics. They are defined and described in EN 726-3 and EN 726-4. This standard defines the operating procedures and the minimal cardphone requirements for the card related part of the payphone application. These will: - simplify customer use through a common sequence; - ensure the inter-European use of IC cards containing the payphone related applications.
