scope:

Deals with safety requirements applicable to small fixed sited systems and equipments primarily intended for the combined transmission and reception of signals for transmitter output power up to approximately 400 Watt. It covers all types of systems such as: - base stations for CB radio, - base stations for amateur radio, - base stations for mobile communication services (e.g. mobile telephony), - base stations for VSAT systems, - base stations for microwave systems and all types of equipment installed in such systems. As far as applicable it is also valid for mobile and temporarily installed systems e.g. caravans.
