This standard specifies the units recommended for use in expressing properties of paper, board and pulps, but excludes fibre building boards. Table 1 gives recommended units for use in connection with test methods which are already the subject of standards and table 2 gives recommended units for use in connection with test methods which are not at present the subject of standards but are widely referred to in international technical exchanges.
