Part 2 of the standard gives the limiting values for power received by land-based and off-shore industrial-process measurement and control systems or parts of systems, during operation. Maintenance and repair conditions are not considered. The object of Part 2 of the standard is to provide users and suppliers of industrial-process measurement and control systems and parts of such systems with a uniform listing and classification of the listed operating conditions related to power.
