This standard describes a method for the photometric determination of the hydrazine content of water in boiler plants. It applies to any kind of water in boiler plants with a hydrazine content of least 10µ g/l. Iron(II) and copper(I) do not interfere with the determination, if the sample contains less than 0.25 mg. Ammonia and hydroxylamine, even in large quantities, do not interfere.
