This standard describes the determination of the creeping behavious of full-wall pipes made of amorphous thermplastics materials by means of: a. the testing of rings for flexing by deforming them under a constant load. The rings have been taken from pipes of amorphous thermoplastics obtained by extrusion. During the loading period the creep deformation is determined. The required minimum loading time is stated; b. an extrapolation method with which, starting from the creeping deformation measured, the creeping behaviour of the pipe to be expected in the long run can be safely stated.
