scope:
This standard specifies requirements for measuring preheating temperature, interpass temperature and preheat maintenance temperature for fusion of products with wall thickness not exceeding 50 mm. This standard shall also be applied as appropriate in the case of other welding processes and larger wall thickness. Where short welds are to be made, e.g. for welding on pipes or nozzles, where necessary special requirements shall be agreed.
