Natural gas - Calculation of calorific value, density and relative density

inactive
Organization: NEN
Publication Date: 1 June 1986
Status: inactive
ICS Code (Natural gas): 75.060
scope:

This International Standard specifies methods for the calculation of the calorific value (both superior (gross) and inferior (net)), density and relative density of natural gas when values for the physical properties of the pure components and the composition of the gas by mole fraction are known. It also describes the determination of the precision of the calculated calorific value from the precision of the method of analysis. Reference is made to all sources of basic data refered to for the physical properties. The conversion of basic data to the values required at the specified conditions is also given.
