This part of ISO 9682 specifies a spectrophotometric method using sodium periodate for the determination of the manganese content of iron ores. This method is applicable to a concentration range of 0,02 (m/m) to 8 % (m/m) of manganese in natural iron ores, and iron ore concentrates and agglomerates including sinter products.
