This standard describes a method for the sampling of milk and liquid milk products for the purpose of racioactivity measurements. For the sample preparation of milk, see NVN 5645. The milk is sampled from the cooling tank at the farm or the creamery, or pre-packaged milk is sampled. The milk sample can be used for various radioactivity measurements, after possible sample preparation in accordance with NVN 5645. The method is suitable for use in case of accidents, but can also be used for background monitoring.
