This standard specifies a flow injection method with photometric detectie to determine the contents of free and total sulphite in rain water. It applies to rain water with a total-sulphite content of 0.5 to 50 µ mol/l (<=^> 0.04 to 4.0 mg/l) and can be used to determine both free and total sulphite.
