scope:
This standard describes the method of atomic absorption spectrometry with the graphite furnace technique for the determination of the content of barium, cadmium, cobalt, chromium, copper, molybdeen, nickel, lead, tin, vanadium and zinc. This standard is part of NEN 7320 and NEN 7340 and is applicable to filtered destillates and eluates of solid earthy and stony building and waste materials. For the specification of the materials and elements (tested and partly validated) is referred to NEN 7320. The determination of the content of the elements mentioned above, take place after destruction with a mixture of nitric acid and hydrochloric acid according to an adjusted form of NEN 6465, described in NEN 7320. The determination of the content of the elements mentioned above, in the eluates take place in combination with the execution of leaching tests according to NEN 7340.
