scope:
This standard specifies requirements for the design, the selectionand the erection of electrial installations in areas where highly flammable substances may be present. This standard applies to electrical installations within the scope of the standards NEN 1010 a nd NEN 1041 and supplements these standards with additional requirements. Moreover this standard may apply to mines for electrical installations, overground as well as underground, where explosive gar mixtures other than firedamp may be present.
