scope:
This European Standard specifies requirements for the acceptance of simulation tools used for the assessment of design of traction power supply systems. The simulation results allow the calculation of quality index(es) requested by EN 50388. This European Standard is applicable to the simulation of a.c. and d.c. traction power supply systems, including conventional and high speed lines defined in the TSIs. This European Standard does not deal with validation of simulation tools by measurement.
