This code of practice gives directions for the sampling of smoke and exhaust gases from stationary sources for the determination of the nitrogen oxide content (nitrogen monoxide (NO) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2), together indicated as NOx). The code of practice is meant to be used in continuous and discontinuous sampling to determine the NOx-concentration of smoke and exhaust gases, both in an oxidizing and reducing environment.
