scope:
This standard describes a general method for the comparison of the colour on reduction and of the tinting strength of two similarly coloured pigments in linseed standoil. The results of the determination of the tinting strength are reproduced as relative tinting strength or equivalent colouring value. The standard applies to the testing of coloured pigments, unless otherwise stated in the requirements.
