scope:
This standard applies to the starting performance of single-speed three-phase cage induction motors for voltages up to and including 660 V, intended for direct-on-line or star-delta starting and rated on the basis of duty-type S1 (maximum continuous rating) and which may have any degree of protection. This standard also applies to dual voltage motors in so far as the flux saturation level is the same for both voltages.
