scope:

This standard applies to the application for educational and training purposes of magnetic tape cassettes described in IEC Publication 94-7: Magnetic Tape Sound Recording and Reproducing Systems, Part 7: Cassette for Commercial Records and Domestic Use. This standard deviates from IEC Publication 94-7 only with respect to utilization of the tracks in order to secure student response facilities and fully compatible pre-recorded information (teacher) as well as the safeguarding of this information. This standard applies to cassettes used in A.A.C., A.P.V. and A.A.V systems (see Appendices A, B and C) for separate and superimposed track systems. Cassettes used in A.A. and A.P. for separate track systems and A.P.V. for superimposed track system are identical with the cassettes for domestic use given in IEC Publication 94-7.
