Water quality - Evaluation in a aqueous medium of "ultimate" aerobic biodegradability of organic compounds - Method by analysis of dissolved organic carbon (DOC)
inactive
| Organization: | NEN |
| Publication Date: | 1 January 1996 |
| Status: | inactive |
| Page Count: | 18 |
| ICS Code (Examination of biological properties of water): | 13.060.70 |
scope:
The conditions described do not always correspond to the optimal conditions allowing the occurance of the maximum value of biodegradation. The procedure applies to substances which are soluble at the concentration used under the test conditions, non-volatile; non significantly adsorbable on glass; not inhibitory to the test micro-organisms at the concentration chosen for the test.

Water quality - Evaluation of the "ready", "ultimate" aerobic biodegradability of organic compounds in an aqueous medium - Method by analysis of dissolved organic carbon (DOC)
This International Standard specifies a method for the evaluation of the “ready” and “ultimate” biodegradability of organic compounds at a given range of concentrations by aerobic microorganisms. In...
