NEN 10106

Methods of measurement of radiated and conducted interference from receivers for AM, FM and TV broadcast transmissions

inactive, Most Current
Organization: NEN
Publication Date: 1 March 1984
Status: inactive
ICS Code (Electromagnetic compatibility in general): 33.100.01
ICS Code (Television receivers): 33.160.25
ICS Code (Radio receivers): 33.160.20
scope:

The object of this recommendation is to standardize the conditions and methods of measurement to be used for the study of the radiation from braodcast radio and television receivers, so as to make possible the comparison of the results of radiation measurements obtained by different observers and in different measuring locations. Limiting values of the various quantities for acceptable performance are not specified. It constitutes a cataloque of selected measurements recommended for assessing the essential radiation properties of receivers of a given type. It is neither mandatory nor limiting; a choice can be made from the list as required. If necessary, additional measurement may be carried out, but these should be preferably carried out according to standards laid down by the standardizing body of the country concerned. The proposed methods are designed to make possible the assessment of the radiation properties of a complete receiver at different frequencies without any provision being made for going into the details of the apparatus.
