scope:

This International standard provides means for determining the composition of calibration gas mixtures by comparison methods. The concentration of each component in the mixture has to determined, but it should be noted that the accuracy of the value of each concentration may vary over a fairly large range, depending on the type of apparatus used to make the comparison. The principal application of comparison methods is the preparation of large quantities of gas for frqequent calibration of analysers in routine use.
