This code of practice gives directives for the routine determination of the p- and m-numbers of water in boiler plants. For an accurate determination, see NEN 6497. The code of practice applies to any kind of water found in boiler plants, where the determination of the p-number and/or the m-number is relevant for the management: -boiler water; -boiler supply water, -(decarbonated) suppletion water.
