NEN 10169-17

Radio frequency connectors - Part 17: R.F. coaxial connectors with inner diameter of outer conductor 6,5 mm with screw coupling - Characteristic impedance 50 ohms (Type TNC)

active, Most Current
Organization: NEN
Publication Date: 1 September 1981
Status: active
Page Count: 42
ICS Code (RF connectors): 33.120.30
scope:

This standard concerns miniature r.f. coaxial connectors for use with r.f. cables both flexible (prefered cables 96-2 IEC 50-3 and 96-2 IEC 50-2) and semi-rigid, where dielectric filled interface is required for severe environmental exposure. This type is a screw coupled connector known commercially as the TNC connector and was derived from the bayonet coupled connector known as the BNC (IEC Publication 169-8:Radio-frequency Connectors, Part 8: R.F. Coaxial Connectors with Inner Diameter of Outer Conductor 6,5 mm (0,256 in) with Bayonet Lock - Characteristics Impedance 50 ohms (Type BNC).
