These recommendations relate to thermostatic switches for use in equipment for telecommunications and in electronic applications employing similar techniques. Switches covered by this specification have a rated voltage not exceeding 500 V (d.c. or r.m.s. value) or a rated current not exceeding 25 A. The operating temperature range of these switches will lie between -55° C and 400° C. The setting may be fixed or adjustable.
