Specifies the requirements for marking of industrial valves. It defines the method of applying the markings, on the body, on a flange, on an identification plate or any other location. When specified as a normative reference in a valve product or performance standard, this Standard has to be considered in conjunction with the specified requirements of that valve product or performance standard.
