This European Standard specifies a test method by which to assess the resistance to cutting from a hand-held chain saw for boots with integrated protection. Additionally, the requirements for identification marking and instruction are included. Other forms of foot protection against hand-held chain saws will be covered in other standards. This standard only covers boot with integral protection.
