The present standard applies to contactor relays and primarily to those having 4 to 10 contacts, of which the reated working voltage does not exceed 380 V (415 V) alternating current, and the terminals of which each permit the connection of either one or two flexible conductors of 1,2 mm² maximum cross section or of a single flexible conductor or 2,5 mm² maximum cross section. It is recommended that these indicated dimensions should also be used for awailiary contactors having characteristics which differ from those given above.
