In science terminology has to be chosen very carefully. A term has to have the same meaning for every user; therefore a term has to be defined unambiguous and not in contradiction with everyday usage. This is especially applicable to metrology.Every measurement involves measurement deviations. Metrology has to describe as accurate as possible the measurement insecurity.
