This pre-standard describes the sampling and the analysis smoke, process gases and exhaust gases in order to determine the contents of arsenic , cadmium, chromium, copper, mercury, lead and zinc and their compounds, both in particulate matter and in the gas phase/ The pre-standard only applies to measurements in the flues of stationary sources such as chimneys, exhaust and process pipe systems.
