scope:
This pre-standard describes the methods of sampling meat and meat products for consumption for the purpose of radioactivity measurements. By meat is understood: red and white meat and fowl. Meat products and organs (e.g. thyroid gland, liver, kidney) can be sampled in accordance with this standard. The samples can be used for various measurements, after sample preparation in accordance with NVN 5642, if required.
