Specifies requirements for classification of wire electrodes, wires and rods for gas tungsten arc welding, gas shielded metal arc welding and submerged arc welding of creep resisting steels. The classification of the wire electrodes, wires and rods is based on their chemical composition. Additionally a product designated with a process symbol shall meet requirements specified in 4.1.
