This standard applies to magnetic video recording and/or reproducing using 0,5 in (12,70 mm) tape cassettes on two-head helical-scan video cassette recorders, suitable for recording and/or reproducing of monochrome as well as colour TV-programmes for the 50 Hz-625 lines TV-systems. The cassette is provided with two-coaxial reels, one above the other. This standard gives dimensional and other characteristics necessary to assure the interchangeability of cassettes.
