This standard gives calculation methods for the determination of the heat loss coefficient by transmission of buildings or parts of buildings, the heat resistance of separate partitions and the thermal insulation index of a building. Some things have the following starting points: - the heated room has a uniform temperature; - there is a thermal stationary situation; - heat losses by ventilation are considered to fall outside the fields of application, apart from the giving of fixed values for the ventilation in unheated rooms.
