This part of EN 1115 specifies ancillary equipment to be used in combination with plastics pipes made of glass-reinforced polyester resin intended to be used in underground drainage and sewerage under pressure. In case of a corrosive sewer environment, chemical and temperature resistance have to be taken into account. This part of EN 1115 applies to the following types of ancillary equipment: - access fittings; - flanges; - blank flanges;- valves; - surge tanks; - air vacuum valves; - washouts; - pumps; - mechanical couplings; - traps.
