scope:
This European Standard specifies requirements for construction, performance, labelling, sampling and testing of snaps and the corresponding test methods. It is applicable to fireworks which are classified as snaps in category 1 in prEN 14035-2 which are contained in a primary pack or selection pack and/or used as semi-finished products in Christmas crackers. It is applicable to snaps which contain up to 10 mg of report composition that is based on potassium perchlorate and red phosphorous, or which contains up to 1,6 mg of silver fulminate used as report composition.
