Is applicable to power cables used in conventional electric power generating plants. The purpose of this guide is to enable an intending purchaser to state his requirements clearly to potential suppliers and to make him aware of the options and alternatives available. This guide for procurement only covers power cables up to and including Um = 41,5 kV used in conventional electric power generating plants. Cables for distribution systems and Control & Instrumentation and communication cables are not covered in this guide.
