scope:

This standard gives guidance on writing the Technical Specification for the procurement of fuel preparation plant for solid, liquid and gaseous fuels associated with steam generating plant and flue gas treatment plant in the electrical power supply industry. This includes: Feeders; Pulverizers/Mills, Crushers; Classifiers; Pipework; Pumps; Heaters; Filters; Dampers; Valves; It should be note that the equipment covered by this guide is related to its function rather than design type. For example, belt-type feeder, overshot roll feeder, impact mill, tube ball mill, bowl mill would be covered by this guide for procurement. Some of the provisions maybe applicable to steam generating plant for other applications.
